Christmas Sermon Series
Sometimes, people think about Christmas and the Christmas story and are interested in creating a hot new take on it. However, the Bible only gives us one Christmas story, a couple of chapters long. This means that every time a true Christian comes around to the Christmas story, it’s not the Christmas story that’s changed, they have. I hope that by all of us looking at the same, true, simple Christmas story, we can behold something new by looking at it with new eyes. Our new eyes have grown, giving us more capacity to draw on the beauty and richness of how the Son of God became a baby.
Year-End Generosity
At the end of the year, many of us will start to think about how we have profited as we are preparing to file our taxes. This is also a wonderful time to think about the Lord and His Kingdom. We should ask ourselves how we profited this last year, and what part of that profit do we have the honor of setting aside and giving to fuel His Kingdom.
