Preschool & Elementary

Children are a precious gift from God. Our children’s Bible studies and events are planned with the purpose of pointing young lives to Jesus. We want them to know that He loves them, is with them, and wants to have a relationship with them.

Curriculum

Elementary Curriculum

September to November: The Gospel Project (Kids)
From Creation to Chaos in the book of Genesis: We will learn that Jesus is Lord over all of creation. The Son has always existed. The Bible says everything was created by Him and for Him, and He holds everything together. All of creation exists to bring God glory.

Key Passages:
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” –Psalm 19:1 (ESV)
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” –Romans 3:23 (ESV)
“For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. Whatever the Lord pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.” –Psalm 135:5-6 (ESV)

Preschool Curriculum

September & October: Better Than Gold
In this series, kids will discover that God’s Word, the Bible, is a treasure that’s better than gold! They will learn that the Bible is one big story of God’s amazing love for His people! The books and chapters contain true messages from God that teach us who He is and how He wants us to live. Because the Bible has power, it speaks to every part of our lives!

Memory Verse: “Your word to me, your servant, is like pure gold; I treasure what you say.” Psalm 119:140 (CEV)

October & November: Hi-Yah
In this series, we will learn how to be made new in our hearts and in our thinking, as we take off the bad habits of the old self and train to put on the new self. Our hope is that kids will see how to be that new person who was made to be like God, truly good and pleasing to Him.

Memory Verse: “…be made new in your hearts and in your thinking.” Ephesians 4:23 (ERV)
