Missions Trip to France

WHY FRANCE?
FAC has three priorities for missional-engagement:
• Unreached people groups
• At-risk people groups (at risk as a result of war, substance-abuse, human trafficking, marginalized communities, etc.)
• Church planting efforts

Less than one percent of the French population professes to be evangelical. While progress seems at times painfully slow, it appears that there is a new openness to the Gospel. There are two community centers that reach out to the Syrian refugees. FAC, along with a sister church in Manahawkin, NJ, has initiated a partnership with the leaders of these community centers
to build their capacities to reach their new immigrant neighbors through ESL and other need-based programs.

FRENCH MISSIONS CONNECTION LUNCHEON
Saturday, July 13 | 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.| Fellowship Center

If you attended the Women’s Fearless Conference, you were the first to hear about our C&MA missions partnership with France. God put pieces together to make it clear that this is one place where FAC will partner. Pastor Suresh and Carol Batten, Director of Women’s Ministry, joined CM&A consultants and took an exploratory trip in February. They explored the mission work the C&MA is doing in cities in France and Germany.

Partnering with the C&MA in France is so much more than going on a missions trip. There are many opportunities to help and partner with the missionaries and international churches, and we want you to be part of this initiative.

To help you understand what we are doing and why we are doing it, we are hosting a French Missions Connection Luncheon. You will enjoy great food (with cheese!) in a relaxed environment and hear about what God is doing in this post-Christian region of the world, especially regarding refugees. Come and meet our C&MA country-consultant partners and hear how God is working. Together, let’s be creative and find ways God can use your gifts to invest in this initiative.

There is no cost to attend the luncheon, but please register so we can have plenty of food (with cheese!) for everyone. Our first trip to France is scheduled to occur in the fall. It will be for women.
