Online Services ONLY

In an effort to protect the health and safety of our church family and local community, we are honoring the recommendation of Gov. Murphy and the Department of Health by closing our campus and continuing to meet together online.

You can join our live broadcast here on our website as well as YouTube channel and Facebook during our normal service times (Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.). We are continually monitoring the situation and will re-evaluate on April 20.

As a gentle reminder, we have a great online giving resource. Offering checks may also be mailed to the office.

We are all dealing with the disruption of our normal routines. Couples and families are spending more time together than they are used to. Single people may be spending more time alone than they usually would. We struggle when our routine is changed since we are typically creatures of habit. In addition, fear or anxiety has gripped some of us, especially when things seem out of our control. Here are a few questions and resources we’d like to provide during this time.

Stay Engaged

What are some things I can do at home in regard to my relationship with God and still be fully engaged with Fellowship Alliance Chapel?


  • Participate in our online worship service! Go to []. It will show at 6pm live and can be accessed at any time after that.
  • Spend daily time with God. There is no “social distancing” needed when it comes to meeting with God!
    • Spend time in prayer and silence with Him. Take time to listen rather than merely talking to God.
    • Spend time in His Word with Him. Seek His presence
  • Look for ways to connect with your group online and through phone calls. If you’re not in a group, this is a great opportunity to start one with a few of your friends! Take a look at the ‘Resources for Small Groups’ section for ideas and tools.


  • Even though you may need to practice “social distancing,” you can serve those that you live with in practical ways.
  • Give neighbors a call to check in on them and ask how they are doing and whether they need help picking up groceries or other errands.
  • Take on a service project, like [ Joann Fabric’s Make to Give ] project supporting medical personnel.


You can give a one-time or recurring gift [online], through our [ mobile app ], or by mailing your check to the office.

Feeling Anxious?

What are some practical steps I can take if I’m feeling anxious during this season?

  1. Get alone with God. There is no “social distancing” needed when it comes to meeting with God!
    • Spend time in silence with Him. Spend time in His Word with Him. Seek His presence.
    • Meditate on Romans 5:5 and John 14:27
    • Reflect on what the Lord has done in your life and the lives of others
  2. Acknowledge the anxiety, don’t avoid it
    • Anxiety is caused not just by the crisis, but who we are who meets the crisis. Most people spend more time reading about the crisis than learning to understand themselves better.
    • Recognize that fear and anxiety can show up as control. Shopping for food and supplies may give us some sense of control, but then we are left with the quiet.
  3. Schedule your worry with reflection (journal, pray, reflect)
    • Journal, pray, and reflect.
    • Who we are in difficult times is often who we are in peacetime. Ponder who you are in difficult times by looking at the following during the past few weeks.
      • Your thoughts
      • Your words
      • Your actions
    • Don’t judge yourself. Just be curious about yourself. These may be areas that we need to allow God to work.
  4. Accurate information is one of the best ways to combat anxiety.
    • Limit amount of news you seek
    • Be aware of who is watching when you are watching, especially with kids who may not have the capacity to process the amount of information.
    • Pick one or two trusted sources and follow those sources. Any more and you are looking for something that they cannot provide.
    • Watch/read with a friend if possible.
    • Be mindful that with watching the news, you are not likely to find what you seek in regard to assurance, control, or peace of mind.
    • Find accurate information from a trusted source like the [ NJ Dept of Health ] or [World Health Organization],
  5. Focus on what you can control.
    • Your time with God.
    • Where you will place your faith.
    • Your attitude.
  6. Pursue things not to just keep you busy but to make progress. (These are sometimes in often neglected areas of life). For example:
    • Long conversations with family and friends.
    • Cooking and eating together as a family.
    • Extra time with the Lord.
    • Home projects.
    • Service projects like [ Joann Fabrics’ Make to Give ]
  7. Connect with people through technology. Remember, social distancing does not mean emotional isolation.
    • Talk with others through video chat (i.e. FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangouts, etc.)
    • Give people a phone call instead of merely texting.

Hosting an Online Small Group

  1. Choose a study to do at home. Here are some options: 
  2. Meet online to chat. Decide which format to use for meeting online to discuss the Discussion Questions. Here are a few options. Click on the link for a tutorial: 
  3. Keep in touch.Keep in touch with each other throughout the week and encourage one another in their relationship with God. Here are some ideas: 
    • Have your group do a Bible reading plan together – through [The Bible App]. 
    • Text verses to each other. 
  4. Fill out the Form. If this is a new group, please use [ this form ] to let us know who’s in your group, who will serve as a point of contact, and other info. This will also help us to connect you to even more leader resources.
