Parents In Progress
Every month on the fourth Monday of the month until May 24, 2021 from 6:00p to 9:00p
Organizer: Justin Wright

Fourth Monday of the Month | 6:30 – 8:00 PM | The Barn

Parents in Progress is designed to be a safe place for parents to share the challenges, concerns and joys of raising a child with a disability. It also provides opportunities for parents to connect, share helpful resources, and walk alongside those who are “new” to the world of disability. Each meeting offers biblical encouragement, sharing and praying for each other, and fellowship. Parents of children of all ages are welcome!

Bible Club:

Bible Club is offered for children, youth, and young adults with disabilities during Parents in Progress. Join us for a night of music, games, activities, drama, Bible stories, and more! There will be a large group lesson and worship time followed by small group break-out/application activities. For questions or to register a first-time Bible clubber, email Tara at tkelley@hvmi.org. For Bible clubbers, please include first name, age, and a brief description of his/her disability so we can staff sufficient volunteers. Parents who plan to attend PIP group do not need to RSVP—just come!

*NOTE: Our staff will be wearing masks and asking screening questions upon arrival. Participants are encouraged to wear a mask if physically able to do so. Please know that not all Bible clubbers will be able to comply and consider this before allowing your clubber to participate.
