For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
(Romans 12:4-5)

Galatians 2:20 says, “For I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” My current favorite worship song is “Unbroken Praise” by Matt Redman. This song resonates with me because it speaks to the heart of what it means to be a true worshiper of Jesus Christ. The song is derived from Psalm 86:12 which says, “I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with my whole heart and I will glorify your name forever.” It is a reminder that true praise acceptable to God comes from an undivided heart that is wholly surrendered to Him. My favorite line in the song says, “Let my deeds outrun my words and let my life outweigh my songs.” My prayer for the worship teams at FAC is that our worship on the stage would pale in comparison to the lives we lead off of it.
