For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
(Romans 12:4-5)

Ed Brokhoff

Ed Brokhoff grew up in Hudson County in northern New Jersey. His family moved to the suburbs of Paramus, also in northern New Jersey, when he was 10 years old.

Ed graduated from Paramus High School. After a semester of Montclair State College, he enlisted in the Navy and spent the following four years on a Navy destroyer. After the service, he attended Bergen Community College. He later joined the Air Force and earned an Associate in Applied Science in Meterology from the Community College of the Air Force. Upon retiring from the Air Force in 2014, after 28 years in the military, he returned to school and earned a bachelor’s in Psychology with an emphasis on Christian Counseling from Pillar College.

Ed has been attending FAC since 2006. He has been a staff member since May 2014.

I devour God’s Word daily, discovering new truths all the time. God has been speaking to me since 2008 that I need to explore and develop my talents and spiritual gifts through volunteering in different ministries. This will help me discover God’s will and plan for my life. This is how I wound up on the FAC staff. I started by volunteering to help stack chairs after Sunday services because I felt drawn to it. This led to my part-time position on the Facilities Team because I wanted to play a larger role in what God is doing at FAC.
