For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
(Romans 12:4-5)

Jackie Schaefer

Jackie Schaefer grew up in Marlton, graduated from Cherokee High School in Marlton, and attended Thomas Edison University for Organizational Leadership.

Previously, Jackie worked for Young Life, a high school outreach ministry, from 2015-2021. She has also been involved in various ministries at FAC including high school youth group, the worship team, guest services, the missions board, and served most recently on the pastor search team.

Jackie started working at FAC in October 2021 as an executive assistant to Senior Pastor Seth McCoy. She is excited to provide Pastor Seth with the support he needs so he can focus his time, energy, and giftings best on leading our congregation.

Jackie married her high school sweetheart, Jeff, and they live in Tabernacle, NJ with their two children, Theodore and Adelaide. She’s passionate about her family, the next generation, and coffee.

I love Ephesians 2:8-10: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (ESV) I’ll always be amazed by God’s grace, and how we are lavished with what we don’t deserve. This verse reminds me of the sweet truth that I can’t earn my salvation or disqualify myself from it by my works. Rather, our salvation is a gift given under no prerequisite other than God’s own purpose. Dwelling on how the Lord has ordained our calling to Jesus before time even began is remarkable to say the least!
