For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
(Romans 12:4-5)
Lauren was born and raised in Medford and has had the unique opportunity to call Fellowship Alliance her church home since birth. As Communications and Connecting Director, Lauren is humbled and impassioned by the sacred work of her role to communicate invaluable truths about God and His word to His people in a way that glorifies Him. She desires to nurture and extend the way Fellowship communicates the life-transforming truth of the gospel with Spirit-driven boldness, elegance, and above all, love. Lauren is also committed to supporting the intentionality with which Fellowship can connect the church body to God, His people, and His purpose as we follow His command to make disciples.
God has been tenderly revealing to me the weighty, yet priceless cost of living a life surrendered to Him and His will. Matthew 16:24–25 is such a beautiful reminder of that. “Then Jesus told His disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.’” A life laid down for Jesus will require a wringing out of myself and all that I have, but as this verse promises, it is in this place that I will experience all the goodness of a life lived for His glory alone.
