aWAKEN is inviting you to join us once a month for IF: Table. We believe the table is a place to gather women and share a simple meal and dive deep with people over real stories and Christ-centered conversations.

Fresh Hope for Single Moms

4th Sunday of the Month | 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. | FAC Campus | Free

Fresh Hope is a ministry for Single Moms – connecting single moms to God’s love through friendships, encouragement, and support.

Fresh Hope is for all single moms and grandmoms raising children under the age of 23 (special needs individuals under the age of 28). The ministry connects single moms who share a common life experience to God’s love through friendship, encouragement, and support.

Fresh Hope meets once a month at FAC for dinner, teaching, and fun. Dinner is provided for the moms and their children at 5:00. At 6:00, children’s and youth programs are available, including Kid Blast Clubs, Level 5, and Planet 678. Childcare will be provided for children too young to participate in the FAC ministries.

Marriage Matters Workshop: Escape the Quicksand Quagmire!

There you are, innocently navigating the many trails your marriage journey takes when all of a sudden, “Oh no!” You look down and find yourself stuck in quicksand ― again! Just when you thought you had it all figured out, you find yourself sinking back into old habits. “Why do I keep doing these things?! Why do I keep saying those things?!” Stop! Don’t panic! Join us for this Marriage Matters workshop ― and we’ll throw you a line! The workshop is free, and you don’t need to be a member of FAC
to attend. Invite your family and friends.

Marriage Matters Live Stream: Blended and Blessed

Are you a stepparent? Whether the journey has been a breeze or you’re struggling, we are here to offer you support and encouragement. Join us as we host this live stream event from Family Life. Blended & Blessed is just for step-family couples, single parents, dating couples with kids, and others who care about blended families. Space is limited, so register now. The cost is $10.00 per person and financial aid is available. (No nursery provided.)

Marriage Matters Young Marrieds Mix and Mingle

Are you under, or around, the age of 30 and either engaged or married for five years or less? Come on out, meet, connect and have fun with other couples your age! There will be food and fun, and you will hear about many upcoming events for young marrieds! The picnic is free, but you do need to register. After you register, you will be sent the location of the picnic. This is so that we can make sure there’s enough food!

Marriage Matters Workshop: Living on a Prayer

We’re often so quick to gripe and complain, throw our hands up in the air and walk away, or even to write things off as hopeless that we forget, or perhaps have never even known, the power of prayer and just how much God wants to be a part of our struggles. God created marriage! Join us as we discuss the power of prayer and guide you into a better way to pray for yourself, your spouse, and your marriage.

Marriage Matters Thrive in 5

Thrive in 5 is a new group designed solely for couples in the first five years of marriage. Our first Thrive in 5 was designed for younger married couples, ages mid-twenties to mid-thirties. We look forward to launching a new Thrive in 5 for older couples adjusting to their first years of marriage.

Kid BLAST Parents Night

Wednesday, March 27, 2019 | 6:30 – 8:30 pm | FAC Campus | Free

Parent Night is a time where parents of children birth through 4th grade will gather to be encouraged and equipped to help strengthen their children’s personal relationship with Jesus. The topic of the evening will be how to present the salvation message to your children and how to lead them into excepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There will a teaching time and Q&A session.
