Sample Schedule

Below is a sample schedule of what a day at camp may look like. The schedule changes daily.

7:15 – 8:00 AM | Before Care (additional cost)

8:00 – 8:30 AM | Check in at FAC and load buses

9:00 AM | Buses arrive at camp and students disperse into their units

9:30 – 10:10 AM | Chapel time

10:15 – 10:55 AM | Small Group and Craft time

11:00 – 11:40 AM | Group Game & Free swim

11:45 AM – 12:15 PM | Lunch

12:13 – 1:10 PM | Low Ropes and Obstacle Course

1:15 – 3:00 PM | Free Time

3:15 – 3:30 PM | Travel back to FAC

3:30 – 4:00 PM | Pick up at FAC

4:00 – 5:30 PM | After Care (additional cost)

Check-in: 8:00-8:30 a.m. and Pick-up: 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Check-in and pick-up will be held at Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Road, Medford, NJ 08055, as well as Camp Fellowship 498 Kettle Run Road, Marlton, NJ 08053. Campers will be bused from the church to the camp and back each day.

Please note that at check-in, you will receive a pick-up tag.  This tag will be identical to your campers and therefore only allow you to pick up your camper.  This is a safety procedure that we have in place to protect our campers and families.  If someone other than you needs to pick up your camper, please notify us of the change.

The buses will not wait for late campers to be dropped off at church.  If you miss the bus, you can transport your camper directly to the camp and they can return to church on the bus.

We ask that campers be dropped off between 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., and picked up no later than 3:45 p.m.

Camp Fellowship East Entrance is located at 498 Kettle Run Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053. Just look for the Camp Wired sail flags along the road.

Each camper should bring athletic shoes, sandals/flip flops (to be worn in beach area), a packed lunch (we have refrigeration), a water bottle, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, an extra change of clothes, plastic bag for wet items after swimming, spending cash for the snack shop, and backpack to carry all these things.  Please be sure to label your camper’s personal belongings.

If your camper is looking to purchase some Camp Fellowship t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, or mugs, these items will be more costly than the items being sold at the snack shop.  These items range from $10 to $20.  If campers are only looking to get some extra snacks & drinks from the snack shop, they should be well situated with $5 each day for spending cash as our items will not be expensive.  The snack shop will be available during free time for campers to be able to buy snacks, drinks, and ice cream.  Campers should bring their money in a labeled envelope or Ziplock bag which should be handed in at check-in on Monday morning.

With the heavy use of electronics and technology in today’s culture, our desire is to provide students with an electronics-free experience where they can create personal friendships, engage in the many camp activities, and enjoy God’s beautiful creation.  We also know how valuable cell phones are and we wouldn’t want anything to happen to them while at camp. We are encouraging campers not to bring any cell phone or electronic device with them that may be damaged. We do understand if parents wish to send their camper with their phone, but it must be kept in their backpacks.  We will not be responsible for the loss of valuables or personal property items. It will be your camper’s responsibility to keep up with their belongings. There will be a designated area for Lost and Found located at camp.

Our trained lifeguards will swim test the campers on the first day of each week. Campers will receive a bracelet if they are able to pass the swim test. This will help us identify campers as they swim. Certified lifeguards and camp counselors will always supervise the campers while they are participating in lake activities. The lifeguards will also do “buddy checks” every 15 minutes during our open swimming time.  Buddy checks require every swimmer to find their “buddy” (swim partner of their choice) on the beach, where our lifeguards will ensure all campers are accounted for. Life jackets are required and will be provided for all boating activities.

Campers who did not pass the swim test and therefore do not have a swim bracelet on will not be permitted past the shallow end ropes in the lake.  Boating will be allowed as all campers are required to have a lifejacket on during all boating activities.  If your camper would like to try the swim test again later in the week, they are more than welcome to do so.  Just have them talk to their counselor and their counselor can get it scheduled with a lifeguard.

We are praying for beautiful weather down at camp this summer.  However, we know that this may not be the Lord’s plan for His weather schedule.  With this in mind, if it is just rain in the forecast, camp will happen as normal, and we’ll just plan on a wet day.  If thunderstorms are forecasted, we will make the decision the morning of and notify parents/guardians by 7:00 a.m. The camp Wired team will likely host an indoor day of camp at the church facility.  If a passing thunderstorm rolls upon us while at camp, we will get all the students into various shelters located around camp and wait for it to pass or get on the buses and head back to church.  We will not cancel a day of camp because the weather is bad or undesirable.

Our camp staff will be trained on what to do in various emergency situations.  We have different safety protocols and procedures in place and our camp staff will be trained and knowledgeable of these procedures.  Parents will be appropriately notified if something were to happen.

Changes to early bird registrations are permitted. However, if any extra weeks are to be included in the registration beyond the early bird window, the regular registration fee will be applicable.

If you need a refund, please reach out to us via email.  Please note that $50 of your payment for each registered week will be non-refundable. All add-on options (i.e. bus services and/or before/after care) are non-refundable.

We have a variety of activities at camp for campers to participate in.  Aside from the scheduled programming which consists of chapel time, small group time, and lunchtime, campers can swim, boat, fish, hike, and explore.  Campers can also play gaga, 9 square, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and tetherball.  Other activities that campers can participate in include, pedal carts, archery, crafts, obstacle course, low ropes challenge course, and environmental education.  There will be lots of programming, skits, and challenges throughout the week, so we are certain that campers won’t be bored.

For sure!  We will host open house dates before camp begins and all are welcome to come and tour the property.

Be our advertisement: This is only our second year hosting a day camp and we are looking forward to many more years.  If your campers had a great experience, tell your friends, neighbors, family, or cousin’s neighbor’s friend’s kids.  Personal experiences are the best form of advertisement that we can get. You could also leave us a Google review to share your experience with others looking at our site.

Donate: Either purchase an item off of our amazon wish list, or a check made out to Fellowship Alliance Chapel, with a memo for Camp Fellowship and it will go directly towards capital improvements at the camp, making the camp a safer, better, and more enjoyable place for future campers.

Volunteer: We have all sorts of opportunities for you to serve at camp whether you want to commit to the week or only a day or two.  We need help with landscaping, maintenance, program activities, actors for the themed camp weeks, snack shop attendants, and other areas.  There is so much happening and so much to do.  If you have a desire, we can help find a place for you to serve!
